Neville Hounslow - 2nd Cornet
Neville has been playing the cornet for 8 years, having started learning from scratch some eight months before that. Which isn't bad progress to get to second cornet at his time of life.
He has an interest in steam railways, and has been a steam engine driver on the Welshpool and Llanfair Railway for quite some time.
He worked originally as an electrician, and through knowledge gained he now helps to maintain the steam engines he drives. As age takes its toll, the engine driving has taken a back seat in preference for the band interests.Nev works as chief engineer in a plastic moulding factory and also holds a full class amateur radio licence.
